NRA Personal Protection Inside The Home – PPITH INSTRUCTOR COURSE
This is the Instructor Certification Course to be certified to teach the NRA PPITH – Personal Protection Inside The Home Course.
Course Date & Time: November Saturday the 10th 9am-6pm
Course Location: Bass Pro Shops next to the Silverton Casino
As an NRA Training Counselor, Maggie is committed to setting up NRA Instructors for success and with the highest ability to articulate The NRA Personal Protection Inside The Home course and follow the course curriculum.
The NRA Personal Protection Inside The Home teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family, and to provide information on the law-abiding individual’s right to self-defense.
PREREQUISITE and INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Student candidates must have taken the NRA PPITH Basic Student Course prior to taking the PPITH Instructor Course. If taken with another NRA Instructor, a copy of a completion certificate must be presented to NRA Training Counselor by the beginning of the Instructor Course.
Additionally, the NRA Pistol Instructor Rating must also have been completed prior to taking this NRA PPITH offered.
Please bring the following:
A Good Learning Attitude
A Notepad, Pencils, Pens & Highlighters
Bring a minimum of 200 Cartridges of Ammunition
Bring a reliable handgun of your choice (either revolver OR semi-automatic)
Bring a minimum of two magazines for semi-auto’s or one speed loader for revolvers
Bring Eye and Ear Protection (Electronic Hearing Protection if you have it)
You may bring a secondary handgun as a replacement if you have it
Bring a Lunch, Snacks and Drinks to keep you comfortable.
Please dress appropriately for the range
We will have 10 minute breaks throughout the day and a 30-minute lunch break.
Course Tuition is $200 and $12 range fee
