The AR-15 BASIC & LIVE FIRE WORKSHOP is a combination of Classroom and Live Fire Range Instruction that is designed to help you become more comfortable and proficient with Carbine Safety, Operation, Manipulation and Shooting.

In this Workshop, you will learn the following:

IN THE CLASSROOM

• Nomenclature of the AR-15

• Disassembly and Reassembly

• Cleaning, Care and Maintenance

• Safety as a Skill with a Carbine

• Slings, Optics and Common Components and Modifications

• The Four Points of Contact

• The Proper Mount and the importance of a proper Cheek Weld

ON THE RANGE

There will be 20-40 Round Live Fire Instruction on AR-15 Manipulation, the Fundamentals of Carbine Shooting.

NOTE: This is NOT a Defense Course.

WHAT YOU NEED

Please bring an AR-15 (Or other Desired Carbine) with at least Two Magazines. If you do NOT have a Carbine, Rentals are Available for $25.

Please bring 40 Rounds of ammunition for your Carbine

Bring a red dot optic if you have it. A magnification optic is not recommended unless you are planning on using your carbine for hunting or long range shooting.

This Workshop is being held at Bass Pro Shops Conservation Room and Shooting Range starting promptly at 4pm.

There will be a $12 Range Fee
