Course Date & Time:  Saturday, October 21st 6:00pm (B.I.T.) Sunday October 22nd 9am – 8pm.

The NRA Basic Pistol Instructor Course

Course Information:

This Course is taught by Vetted Training Counselor Maggie Mordaunt “CCW Maggie”.

Prerequisite: Must have attended NRA BASIC PISTOL COURSE AS A STUDENT. PRESENT CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION IN CLASS. BIT prior to Instructor class.

Description: Students demonstrate organizational and teaching skills via participation in practical exercises during the course, and complete an instructor certification examination. Students will receive the NRA Trainer’s Guide, NRA Pistol Shooting Instructor Candidate Packet.

Bring the following:

** NRA Basic Pistol Book and BIT Binder for BIT test. 

Bring a Good Learning Attitude

Please bring a Notepad, Pencils, Pens, Highlighter

Bring Eye and Hearing Protection if you have it. We prefer Electronic Hearing Protection.

Bring a minimum of 100 Cartridges of Ammunition (NO LIVE AMMUNITION IN THE CLASSROOM!)

Bring a reliable handgun of your choice (either revolver OR semi-automatic) Semi-Auto is recommended.

Bring a minimum of two magazines for semi-auto’s or speed loaders for revolvers

You may bring a secondary handgun as a replacement if you have it

Bring a Lunch, Snacks and Drinks to keep you comfortable.

We will have 10 minute breaks throughout the day and a 30-minute lunch break.

Course Tuition is $250.00

 The Range Fee of $15 is due to Bass Pro Shop Las Vegas.

Complete your registration and follow the instructions. The Appendix 5 Pre-Course Qualification must be Printed, Completed and brought to this course. Here is the link to complete your registration and complete Appendix 5 Pre-Course Qualification.
