NRA Basic Personal Protection Inside The Home Student Course- PPITH

Course Location: Boulder Rifle & Pistol Club, Boulder City NV.

Course Date & Time: December 9th 9am – 6pm.

The NRA Personal Protection Inside The Home course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for the protection of yourself and your family, and provides information on the responsible individual’s right to self-defense.

This Course is taught by Vetted Training Counselor Maggie Mordaunt and the team of Vetted NRA Instructors with HPP Training.

As Certified Defense Shooting Instructors, additional information will be added from the DFC – Defensive Firearms Coach Program. This information makes this the ULTIMATE NRA Course with additional valuable information that is NOT offered by our competitors.

Description: This is an eight-hour course. Students should expect to shoot approximately 100 – 150 rounds of ammunition. Students will learn basic defensive shooting skills, strategies for home safety and responding to a violent confrontation, firearms and the law, how to choose a handgun for self-defense, and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the NRA Guide to the Basics of Personal Protection In The Home handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, the Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, and course completion certificate.

PREREQUISITE and INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE: Student candidates must have taken the NRA basic pistol course prior to taking the PPITH and must present their completed certificate to the instructor. This can be done by producing an NRA Basic Pistol Course Certificate.

In addition, Students must complete and pass the PPITH Pre-Course Assessment.

This course is being offered at Boulder Rifle & Pistol Club. Meeting Location will be emailed upon Registration.
