This is a Defensive Handgun / Conceal Carry Weapon course for the NV, UT permits.

THIS IS A PRIVATE COURSE

This is an expanded CCW Course to exceed the minimum 30 round shooting qualification for the NV Concealed Firearm Permit.

In this course, you will be shooting between 100 – 150 rounds of ammunition (or more), and be exposed to Practical Defensive Shooting concepts & range drills to develop skills that may be used in real defense situations.

This course is for anyone 21 years or older who can legally own a firearm and has the desire and mindset to carry a firearm in public for self-defense. Completing this training will help you understand federal, state and local laws and what it takes to develop necessary skills to defend yourself and protect the ones you love.
Ultimately, you will walk away from this course empowered as a safer and more responsible firearm carrying citizen.

COURSE TUITION AND SCHEDULE:

8 Hour EXPANDED DEFENSIVE HANDGUN / MULTI-STATE CCW

9:00 am –Starting Morning Block of this training Topics include:

• Firearm safety

• Firearm knowledge and preferred handguns for concealed carry

• Acceptable calibers and preferred ammunition

• Handgun cleaning, care and maintenance

• Storing, staging and child-proofing

• Modes of carry and recommended holsters

• Defensive shooting concepts

12:30pm – 1:30pm – LUNCH BREAK

1:30pm – 6pm

The Afternoon Block of this training course

Topics Include:

• Awareness, avoidance and de-escalation

• Possession laws

• Self-defense laws

• Aftermath and dealing with law enforcement

• Alternate force options

• Written exam and range proficiency qualification

What to bring:

• Please bring one handgun of your choice; either Semi-Automatic OR Revolver

• A Minimum of 150 rounds of ammunition. (Bring 200 or more if you have it).

• Bring at least 2 Magazines for your firearm and make sure they are prepared with ammunition and ready to use. Please make sure that your firearm is UNLOADED and clear of any ammunition when you arrive. (Bring 3 magazines if you have them).

• Additional firearms will also be available to try out and test fire. 

• Eye Protection and Electronic Hearing Protection (If you have it) We can provide.

• Please bring drinks, snacks and food to make yourself comfortable. 30 min to 40 min lunch break will be given.

• Please bring pen and paper for taking notes and good learning attitude

What We Provide:

• We will provide your application for NV and UT.

• We will provide your Written Test and Qualification Target.

• We will provide high quality instruction and information to help keep you safe and help you operate within the confines of the law.

• We will provide learning opportunities and experiences. It is your job to learn as best as possible.

• We will provide Eye & Ear Protection at no cost if you need it.

• We are also including the rental of a Firearm if you do NOT have one. If you do have one, please bring it. Firearm Rental is normally $20 and IS included in the tuition if needed. A full or compact frame modern striker fired 9mm semi-automatic is recommended.

• Tuition does NOT include ammunition. We can provide 100 rounds of 9mm ammunition for $market value.
